Dear Kia Country of Savannah,
I wanted to write and thank you so much for such a pleasant car buying experience at Kia Country of Savannah. Yes, most people would say that "pleasant" and "car buying" together is an oxymoron, but not so at Kia Country of Savannah.
My search for the 2011 Optima started in the Atlanta area where I live. Thorough online research had me prepared with a price range I was willing to pay - and note I don't ever pay MSRP, nor do I pay for the dealer "add ons". But my luck in Atlanta was not faring well, from not being able to get the exact car I wanted, to one dealer offering up a demo with 8000 miles, giving me a price including the $500 competitive incentive that was actually higher than the MSRP. Frustrating to say the least.
My search sent me online to dealers throughout Georgia, which brought me to Kia Country of Savannah. It looked like they might have the 2011 Optima EX in Dark Cherry with Beige leather with the packages I wanted. I emailed, and sure enough they promptly responded that they had just received the exact car I was looking for and quoted me a sales price lower than MSRP - and that was before applying any applicable incentives. With just one email response from me with my price, we were able to wrap up an agreed upon price with a single phone call. I had them send me a buyer's order and amazingly no surprise or hidden fees were added. On top of that, they said they would set me up in a resort for one night when I came to pick up my car.
All I had to do was get a check from my credit union and make the trip... When did dealing with my credit union become so complicated? Even the credit union was hassle. A quick call to Kia Country about yet another item that needed to be faxed to my credit union resulted in a financing offer from Kia Country to try to beat the credit union rate. And guess what, Kia Country did beat the rate and made that part of the process easier too.
I just want to thank the internet specialists at Kia Country of Savannah, Scott and Darrell, for making this car buying experience so easy and pleasant. I was in and out of Kia Country in about an hour with a beautiful new shiny car, at a great price with no surprises. I also got a free mini vacation to Savannah at a top notch resort. What a great way to buy a car.
